Who We Are

LKLP Community Action is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Appalachian region of Kentucky. With over 50 years of experience, our organization has been at the forefront of addressing the needs of our community members and creating opportunities for growth and development.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in the LKLP service area. Through a comprehensive range of programs and services, we strive to address the unique challenges faced by our community, including poverty, unemployment, homelessness, and lack of access to healthcare and education.

Community Programs

Economic Development

Our economic development programs focus on creating sustainable jobs and supporting local businesses.
